So my week 4 post is only… oh, about 3 days late… We have been beyond busy. Like, busier than I’ve ever been. I think. I’m too busy to stop and think too hard on it.
Week 4 was good in the hair department. My hair still has not transformed into some gorgeous flowing mane. I’m still holding out hope.
Actually, I was in desperate need of a cut and color (if you look hard at the photo above, you can see my two huge gray streaks), and I finally got that done this past Saturday. My stylist didn’t even laugh at me when I told her what I was doing. Her one concern was the condition of my ends in a section of the back, but I’m pretty sure that the 4 color washes I gave myself within a 3 week span were the cause of that. My poor hair; I treat it so poorly.
I let her wash it with sulfate-free shampoo, so I kind of feel like I cheated. But not really. I haven’t washed it with anything since, but I’ve rinsed it with water.
All in all, week 4 was great. I washed and rinsed it every 2 days. My baking soda/water mixture was 1 tsp per 1 cup of water. ACV/water/honey mixture was approx 50/50, with 1 tbsp of honey added in. I had no scalp issues and no groddiness. YAY!
And since I’m already halfway through week 5, I’m betting I can say the next thing on my next update.
